- ControlPoint, the premier tool for SharePoint administration, that combines a rich but intuitive interface with powerful functionality and extreme scalability. Within a year of its initial release in 2008, ControlPoint beat sales targets by over 250%, displaced older and more mature products, and became the standard by which SharePoint tools are measured.
ControlPoint was built as an ASP.Net application, using .NET 3.5 and 4.0, C#, an Ajax toolkit from Telerik, and both Web Services and WCF as a communications infrastructure.
- Davinci, FileLoader, and Change Manager, a powerful suite of products focused on moving and transforming content among all versions of SharePoint.
Strategy: helped to set direction for two waves of expansion of the company: first entering a new market segment (SharePoint management), and then acquiring echo Technologies to enter a new functional area (SharePoint migrations, document transfers and change management).
Staffing: Grew the ControlPoint team from 3 to 18, and developed the team into an exceptionally collaborative and committed organization - we have the mindset and energy of a startup, with the discipline and maturity of an established organization. Development Manager/Architect
Lexign (formerly KeyFile and icomXpress, now part of Global360), Nashua, NH January 2001-August 2002
Directed the engineering teams responsible for KeyFlow, the company's Exchange-based workflow product, and KeyFile, the company's document management product. Integrated those with electronic forms and digital signatures to create Lexign Suite, supporting secure electronic business processes.
- Hired 9 engineers; introduced usability engineering to the company; established engineering processes, and motivated the team so that there was no turnover in 18 months.
- Created 9 major releases of 4 different products, introducing a significant increase in quality, usability, and features into the company's repertoire.
- Represented the company technically in business negotiations, resulting in the acquisition of the company by Zions National Bank.
- Integrated several acquired companies into Lexign by contributing to the corporate technical vision, resulting in the creation of Lexign Suite.
- Worked closely with customers and partners to collect product requirements, support sales and retain customers; solidified a $.5 million contract with just one partner.

Starting from a simple concept, led the definition, design, implementation, and deployment of a new internet service designed to screen electronic commerce transactions for potential fraud
- Selected the underlying technology (Java, Solaris, Oracle, eFalcon from HNC).
- Defined how iCOMS would deploy and add value to the base eFalcon services - made the service more powerful and much easier to deploy than the competitors'.
- Negotiated with HNC for enhancements that would allow iCOMS to efficiently build and support the service.
